Drifter House 3: Meagan Simson-Part 1

Meagan is a young adult and it is time for her to continue the Simson family tradition and take over the land purchased for her when she was born. She finally got to her new home "Sultry Springside" in Oasis springs.

The scenery was beautiful and it was all hers. She was determined to make her mom proud. She loved her mom and was going to miss seeing her siblings everyday especially her twin sister but she was excited to start a life of her own. She loved and respected her mom more than anything but she watched how hard it was for her mom to juggle raising them and excelling at a career. Meagan decided she really wanted to take more after her grandmother and live off the land and raise her family close to nature. This land was perfect.

The first thing she noticed and decided to take advantage off was the beautiful fishing spots. She figured that would be as good a place as any to try to earn some simoleons. Her mom Mel even stopped by to give her some pointers and fish with her for a bit.

She still needed some practice fishing before she could earn any real simoleons so she went around her new neighborhood in search for stuff she could sell.

All that hunting and gathering exhausted Meg so she found a bench decided to get some rest.

Meg was so tired and discouraged after a full day she decided to call and talk to her sister. She felt a bit better after that and was determined all over again to make it work.

She decided to plant some of the harvestable she found the day before and start her own garden.

After a few more days of gathering and fishing she managed to gather enough to buy some much needed necessities.

While she was running one night she decided she was lonely and it was time to start meeting some of her neighbors.

She meets Nathanial Hinkle and they talk for a while and spend some time getting to know each other. Before she knows it Meg has a new friend.

She spends a lot of her time working on her garden.

and chatting with Nate on the phone.

She is very excited when Nate invites her out.

They have a great time and get even closer.

One day when Meg was out collecting she found a strange berry and decided to plant it in her garden and see what grew. She was so excited when she checked her garden that night and found a mature cow plant. She decided to name her Betsy.

Once she had managed to get her necessities and save some money she decided to take a trip back to her old neighborhood and visit a secret fishing glade her mom had shown her and Kaylee when they were kids. It was so peaceful and beautiful Meg decided it was her new favorite place.

In the meantime things were really heating up with Nate and Meg was starting to think she was in love with him. He even liked Betsy.

Soon they share their first kiss...

and start having sleep over's.

One day while tending the garden Meg notices a delicious piece of cake sticking out of Betsy's mouth. She makes the mistake of trying to take it out....note to self do not take cake from a cow plant.

Since things are starting to get serious between her and Nate Meg decides it time to invite her sister and Mother to meet her man, and she wants her mom to see her garden.
