Drifter House 2: Melody Simson-Part 4

Enjoying the birthday cake.

Life got even busier when the girls where teens. Homework got harder.

Mel’s job got busier. She put in long days Investigation crimes, arresting criminals, and getting confessions.

She even found her brother and another civilian fighting one day and had to issue them both citations. As you can see he was not happy.

All this hard work led to her next promotion.

The things that kept her grounded after dealing with all the criminals at work was tending her garden,

Quite time Fishing,

Spending quality personal time her amazing husband Arnold (which may have led to a brief pregnancy scare, opps)

and her beautiful girls. She loved spending time with her family.

She especially loved family movie night when her brothers came.

She also enjoyed passing her gardening and fishing tips on to her children. She hoped that one day when it was their turn to strike out on their own it would help them.

After a lot of hard work and saved money there $40,000.00+ home was complete.

One day Mel came home to find the Reaper in her living room and discovered that Arnold had passed in his sleep from old age.

She decided to create a place in the yard where the family could morn him.

The family deals with grief in their own ways. The twins bond over memories of their dad,

while Mel spends time in her garden.

Kaylee begins sleeping in her parent’s room to keep Mel from being to lonely.

Mel throws herself into her work to help deal with her loss.

And spends as much time the the girls as possible since she knows any time now they will be moving on to begin their own lives.

And her brothers all drop by when they can to lend their support. Even little Branden, who Mel is surprised to find is all grown up.

The time has flown by and Mel is an elder.

And still fighting crime.

And getting another promotion.

One night Arnold’s ghost makes and appearance. After that he seems to come and go randomly. All the ladies in the house are just happy to see him whenever he shows up.

The only problem is he tends to break things when he visits. Oh well Mel figures it’s a small price to pay to be able to see her beloved Arnold again.
