The Simson family decided to take a vacation trip to Granit Falls for the kid’s birthday and Mel’s upcoming birthday. They wanted to spend some more time as a family with no work interfering.
While they were there they did a lot of fun family things, Like…
Family meals
Group fishing.
Sister bonding time.
The family did some exploring in the woods and found a cave that led to a cove in the deep woods.
They played Horseshoes.
Told campfire stories.
And had some wonderful relaxation time.
Even some romance time.
While they were here Mel decided to indulge in her herbalism hobby since she never had time while at home working and taking care of the kids.
She gathered herbs.
Collected Insects.
Talked to the local hermit, she has some good advice on herbalism, and Mel couldn’t wait to get back to the cabin and try time out.
She used all the stuff she had gathered and things she had learned from her new friend to try making some natural insecticides and ointments.
Unfortunately, she had a misshape with the grill. Once she got herself extinguished she moved to the kitchen to try and calm down. She decided to continue working her herbalism skills once she got home.
Once they got home they decided it was time to start building their dream house.
It wasn’t finished but it was a great start and Mel was very happy.
After her amazing family vacation and a few nights spent sleeping in a tent,
She reached her life goal of becoming and outdoor enthusiast.
After the excitement of their vacation their life settled back into a normal routine.
Shortly after their family vacation Arnold aged into an elder.
They went to school and work.
Mel worked hard and tried to stay sharp.
Arresting Criminals.
Running interrogations.
Updating the Chief.
And keeping in shape.
But her favorite thing was spending time with her family although somedays it felt like there just wasn’t enough time.
She loved catching up with them about school while cooking.
and greeting them when she got home from work.
Mel loved watching the girls play.
And before they knew it was once again the girl’s birthday.
Mel made them a beautiful cake.
Meagan’s a teen.
Kaylee’s a teen.
After their party they had their traditional makeovers and family photo. The twins are growing in into very pretty young women.
